OAK EARTH
The smoked finish on this single-strip oak floor from the Artisan Collection enhances the natural colour variations for a rustic expression. Knots and cracks pepper the boards, adding depth and balancing the toasted sesame seed highlights. Each board is carefully brushed to bring out the character of the grain and highlight the natural texture of the wood. Four-sided bevelling at the edges ensures a classic full plank look and feel. Hand-scraping enhances the worn appearance of the floor.
All naturally occurring wood colour variations allowed, from light to dark brown. Sapwood may occur. The product includes very large sound and black knots and cracks. Partly filled knots and cracks will be present in all sizes and numbers. Any flaking in the wood-surface is due to the hand-crafting technique used on the surface to create the design and is permitted without restriction.
